Yay! We’ll be having a proper book launch for forgotten trees Bruce McKenzie Booksellers! I’ve invited Helen (Lehndorf) and Tim (Upperton) to come and read some of their poems as well, so it will be a great night. 6pm, June 12th Bruce McKenzie’s, George Street, Palmerston North.

forgotten trees package arrived
Very excited! The package from the States arrived last night – the book and CD look great together. I’d forgotten (no pun intended) that I’d ordered silver CDs … wow they’re so shiny! Now I’ll get to planning the book release party with Bruce at the bookshop.
Forgotten trees book of photos and poems nearly ready
I been changing and tweaking the poems and I’m now in the process of finishing off the book. I’ve whittled over 60 of the best poems down to about 45, culled about 50 photos from over 200 I liked. The document is almost ready to go to press, just waiting on our isbn.
Great News – Forgotten Trees as a book!
I had some poems I’d been working on and I’ve decided to make Forgotten trees into a three-level piece: music, graphics and text. There will be a 100 page book of photos and poems to complement the CD. Get both, read the book and look at the photos (which are new, not available electronically through the website) and listen to the music in the background (with a cup of herbal tea, perhaps). Intended release date is April 19th – at the moment just working through a sizing problem with the CD tray insert.
